Welzijn Lelystad finds it important that information is accessible to everyone. People with disabilities should also be able to use this website properly and independently.
The accessibility of the website is continuously improved. We aim to comply with the Web Guidelines (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 AA).
The website has been examined with both automatic tools and manual testing. Bottlenecks found are resolved as soon as possible. Accessibility of content is tested before publication.

Current status
In November 2025, Tech Strategist conducted a survey on this website. This survey gave us insight into several areas for improvement.
In March 2026, Tech Strategist conducted a re-examination. This found that the outstanding items from the first report have been resolved. There is still 1 outstanding item from the report:
- Colour contrast. In a number of places on the website, the ratio of colours is still too low. We are aware of this and our intention is to adjust our house style colours in a next version of the website.
