For those who cannot get around easily (anymore)

Don't have your own transport or are you less agile? Then you can use two transport services: The Opstap Lelystad and ANWB AutoMaatje. Both services are intended for residents who find independent travel difficult.

Can't drive yourself or travel by public transport? Volunteer drivers from ANWB AutoMaatje will take you to your appointment or outing in their own car.

You can use AutoMaatje for e.g.:

  • a visit to the GP, hospital or physiotherapist
  • the hairdresser, a birthday or a fun day shopping

You only pay an expense allowance of €0.35 per kilometre and any parking costs to the driver. Signing up is free of charge.
