A buddy that suits you
Sometimes it is just nice to have someone there. Someone who stops by for a cup of coffee, a walk, a chat or an errand. A buddy is a volunteer who gives time and attention. In a way that suits you. Not an aid worker, but someone who makes your day just a little bit lighter.
Doing something together
Maybe you notice that you don't speak to many people. Or you find it difficult to make new contacts. A buddy can give you just that little push. Doing something together, laughing together, being quiet together: it is all about human contact.
Time for yourself
Do you care for someone close to you, for example as a carer? Then it can be nice to have some time to yourself from time to time. A buddy can then give time and attention to the person you care for, allowing you to take a breather.
We always make sure you are matched with someone who is a good fit for you. There must be a click so that the contact is pleasant for both of you.
Got any questions? Feel free to ask them. We are here for you.
