Do you care for a loved one? We are here for you

As an informal carer, you care - often out of love and dedication - for someone who is (chronically) ill or needs extra help. You do this alongside your work, family, education or other obligations. We understand how intensive it can be. That is why Welzijn Lelystad offers you, as a carer, support that suits you.

Our informal care advisers listen to your story, think with you and show you the way where necessary. They know exactly what forms of support are available in Lelystad, including respite care - temporary replacement of your care task - so you can take a breather.

Our informal care support is free, for all Lelystad residents. You do not need a referral from a GP.
