Colleague Samia was at visit king to IDO

King Willem-Alexander visited the IDO foundation in Lelystad on Tuesday 28 October. This organisation supports residents facing poverty, debt or mental health problems and offers help where needed.

Cooperation Welzijn Lelystad and IDO

Welzijn Lelystad was also represented: our colleague Samia works closely with IDO from the Dukdalf/Het Trefpunt community room. During the visit, she talked about her work and how this cooperation helps residents find a place where they feel welcome and heard.

Special experience

'It was an extraordinary experience. The king asked many questions and showed genuine interest in people's stories,' says Samia.This visit highlights how important cooperation is to help residents in need of support move forward. Together with IDO and other partners, we are committed to creating a strong and engaged community in Lelystad.
