Enjoying Saint Nicholas together

More than 30 children came together with their parents to community centre De Dukdalf for an afternoon of fun, games and surprises. The atmosphere was good right from the start: people fanatically participated in various games, including the ever-popular musical chairs. Of course, there was no shortage of gingerbread, laughter and sweets.

Action Pepernoot

Together with the parents, the children played a cheerful Sinterklaas and Holland quiz, with everyone participating enthusiastically. The highlight of the afternoon was undoubtedly the arrival of two jolly Pieten. Thanks to Pepernoot Action, each child received a suitable present, carefully selected so that there was something really nice for everyone. The children were beaming and the party atmosphere reached its peak.

Enjoying to the full

'We look back on a warm, happy and connecting celebration that children and parents thoroughly enjoyed. A wonderful example of how together we can put a smile on many faces. Thanks to Pepernoot Foundation for making this special afternoon possible,' said Bojoura Hoekstra, staff member of Refugee Council.
