NLdoet 2026: doing together, making a difference together

During NLdoet 2026, Lelystad coloured a little greener, cleaner and more beautiful. Over 30 colleagues went out together on Friday 13 March to dedicate themselves to organisations in the city.

Volunteering in the city

Work was hard at several places. At care farm De Huif, Pony Club SKWL, Coloriet De Hoven, organic vineyard El Placer and Inloophuis Waterwijk of the IDO Foundation, people painted, cleaned up, weeded and planted flowers. Practical jobs, but with visible results. And above all: a lot of fun.

NLdoet demonstrates the value of rolling up your sleeves together. Not only for the organisations that receive help, but also for their colleagues.

The great thing about NLdoet is that colleagues meet in a different way and at the same time mean something for the city.You immediately see what you can achieve together, and that gives energy.

Says Ludwig Bruins of the Volunteer Centre. We look back on this edition of Nldoet with a good feeling. It was a day of working together, meeting and doing something together for someone else. On to the next edition!
